We ran through a list of actors we'd like to see considered for roles in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", but we saved our favorite choice for the blog.
Let us know what you think about our ideas for Xeno Lovegood (and others) below.

Xenophilius Lovegood
Book Says: Editor of "The Quibbler," Xeno is open-minded to the point of occasional lunacy, the same slightly distracted, wistful air of general flightiness as his daughter Luna. Slightly cross-eyed with "shoulder length white hair the texture of candy floss." Shows up to Bill and Fleur's wedding looking like "an Omelet" according to Great Auntie Muriel.
We Say: For all their silliness and lunacy, our hearts go out to the Lovegoods, and especially to Xeno, a simple and brave wizard given no choice but to act treacherously in the series' last installment. Of course, this is the same guy who tries to recreate Ravenclaw's diadem with a statue and a bunch of radishes - so it's important to cast someone able to convincingly play both sides, the zaniness and the invisible longing. We should laugh with and at Xeno Lovegood right up unto the moment where he breaks our hearts. We should see BILLY CONNOLLY (for proof, check this out.
Alternates: It's not everyday that you're giving a choice between your adventurous daughter's life and the freedom of her friends - well, err, that is unless you're JONATHAN PRYCE. In a small but pivotal role in "Pirates," the 60-year-old Brit was the father who did what was best for his own, regardless of the collateral cost. He could do the same in "Potter."
